Hi...I'm Sally Haines, from Birmingham.
I sing, play acoustic guitar & write songs. Music became a big part of my life from age of seven – my uncle had a top ten hit and I helped him with some lyrics.
He then encouraged me to learn guitar and thus began my love affair with music & I started writing songs. From there I sang in choirs, moved to London and worked with bands, writing material and recording. I then moved back to the midlands to attend University, where I got a BA(Hons) in Drama & English.
I have fronted several bands of different genres, studied under Covent Garden opera singer Grace Evans and Birmingham gospel singer Marsha Campbell, supported rock legend Robert Plant, performed in musicals, acted in & stage managed a touring theatre company as well as working in theatre promotion for a women's theatre company and local radio presentation.
Currently fronting a popular RnB band as well as recently launching a solo career showcasing my own material. Music gives me my harmony & I feel blessed to have been given such a wonderful gift that enables me to express myself, share with others, & to have the chance to work with some of the finest singers & musicians, & of course my new amazingly talented family 'Gospel Central'...life will never be the same again!
