No matter what obstacles may occur, my Mom taught me to always strive to achieve my goals. I work with unique, I-know-everything teenagers, who challenge and make me laugh!
Praise be to God, I have recently qualified as a drama teacher…Yay! In my spare time, if I'm not reading a brilliant book, writing a song or listening to music, I can be found around my sewing machine creating a dress or making some earrings...creativity is the key.
I began singing in church, where I then met Tieshia Ewen in the youth group, where we formed a quartet, called El Shaddi. Years later, Tieshia and I continued our love for singing, as Camilion Switch and have performed at various venues and events, such as the Families For Peace concerts, Arts Fest, London showcases, various charity events with The TNI Band and our music video ‘Now That Your Gone' was also featured on The BBC Midlands Today News.
I’ve sung in plays while at university, have mentored and judged pupils for school competitions and sang in the school staff band. I'm creative, crazy, always with a smile and very shy! I love fun, love life and love love...my name is Ikericia Hanley… God is good, all the time.
